PET-CT for Alzheimer's and/or Age Dementia

Understanding whether a patient is suffering from age dementia or Alzheimer's can sometimes be challenging. With our PET-CT technology and software, we are able to: provide a better "picture" of the patient's brain and quantify brain changes in a visual way.

• NeuroQ^TM Technology - allows us to provide color-coded jpeg pictures attached to the PET report, so that patient and physician can discern beyond subtle grayscale pictures and make it easier to determine normal (blue) from abnormal (purple to red). In addition, NeuroQ^TM can analyze the difference between two PET brain studies of the same patient providing an analysis for progression or regression of disease, unlike other programs that can only analyze in comparison to a database of normal brain scans.
• Sub-specialized radiologists - our radiologists, Radiology Specialists of Florida (RSF), have a sub-group of physicians specially trained to read nuclear and PET-CT scans. This translates to more accurate reads and reports and facilitates collaboration between our specialists and referring physicians particularly when further testing may be indicated.
