First Time Mammograms

First Time Mammograms

Why should I get a mammogram?

Early detection and annual mammograms are two of the biggest reasons for the increase in the number of women who are surviving breast cancer and moving forward with their lives. The American Cancer Society recommends that women age 40 and older should get a yearly screening mammogram. Be proactive with your health and get screened today.

We encourage first-timers to stop by and meet the staff, speak with a breast care coordinator, see the machines used for the screening and have your hand compressed to get an idea of what the procedure feels like.
